T A R A    F E D E R K O
is a Saskatchewan raised artist & creator living in Toronto, ON. 

After graduating with honours from Sheridan College's Music Theatre performance program, soon after, Tara studied at the Second City Conservatory in Toronto. This is where her professional comedy and writing career began. 

Tara has been paid to sing, act, and improvise on stage, as well as be in front of a camera & behind it, as a Writer, Assistant Director and Director.

Tara premiered her first self-written & co-directed pilot in 2017, "Upheaval Times", of which she also starred. Since then she continues to work as an actress in film and television appearing on Amazon Prime, the Oxygen Network, Funny or Die and The Discovery channel. Tara's short film "8+ Weeks", premiered at the 2020 presentation of the Canadian Film Festival. "8+ Weeks" was picked up for broadcast by the Super Channel and following this, Tara was a selected participant of the RBC Yorkton Film Festival mentorship program for 2021/ 2022.

As a creative, Tara's passion is storytelling through many groundbreaking and explorative mediums. While comedy has always been a natural talent of hers, Tara loves to blend genres in her writing. Integrating the common stories we already know with new and inventive genres. Tara is currently in the midst of developing an original, horror short.
